Gig Club (40 of 52) This was about to be the shot I wanted. The gig club was christening its new boat. I positioned myself to get the champagne coming out of the bottle. This was all being done for a People and Places Assignment titled People and Places of North Cornwall. Unfortunately, a free-lancer from the Western Morning News was standing nearby and decided to shove me out of the way. I post this photo as an announcement that this will never happen to me again. The next guy who tries this will get his shot ruined when I shove back.

I shot this with my D-700, 20-120mm lens, ISO100, F/3.5, S/250. I’m still mad at that guy.

About idaswears

I left the U.S. for Cornwall 4 years ago. Since then I have spent my time writing, walking and studying the English. It's not always easy being a Yank in Cornwall, but it's always fun and rewarding.
