The moor is a magnificent expanse in a very crowded countryside. These photos cover two aspects – the moorland around Drake’s Aquaduct and Lydford Gorge, on the edge of Dartmoor.

I love these photos.It’s a long time since I’ve visited Dartmoor. Circa 1976, when a group of us had a picnic within sight of Dartmoor Prison. How romantic that was.

Your pictures are beautiful. Would it be possible to make them a little larger? I swear my eyes have aged 20 years in the past 2 🙂
